We collect your name and email address, your lesson bookings (the teacher, date, time, length and status of each lesson), and a record of every credit you buy, spend, or have returned. We keep records of the orders you place. We collect this so we can run your lessons, maintain your credit balance and manage your account.
Your data is used to deliver lessons, take payment, maintain your credit balance, and send you service emails about your bookings: confirmations, changes, reminders and cancellations. Those are not marketing, and we send them for as long as you hold a booking with us. Marketing email is separate and is only sent if you have asked for it.
About an hour after each completed lesson we email you once to ask how it went. You can rate the lesson from 1 to 5 stars and add a comment if you wish. Answering is optional. Your rating and comment are stored with that lesson and are seen by your teacher and by FunLida staff, and ratings may be used to show an average rating for a teacher. Your comment is only shown on the website, with your first name, if you tick the box allowing it and we approve it. You can ask us to delete your feedback at any time.
We never sell your data. When you book a lesson, your name and email address are sent to the teacher you booked so that they can prepare for and meet you. We also share what is necessary with our payment provider in order to take payment, and with the provider of the online classroom used for your lesson.
You can request a copy of your data, ask for corrections, or ask us to delete your account at any time. One exception: our credit ledger is an append-only financial record, so entries showing credits bought, spent or returned are kept for as long as we are required to keep financial records, even after an account is closed. Unused credits expire 12 months after purchase.
